Dear Tom and Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of her being firm and supportive at the same time, qualities that I appreciated at the time but deeply admire now that I have children of my own. In reading her accomplishments, I am not surprised that she positively touched so many lives. Her life is a beautiful example of a life being well-lived.

I am so sorry to learn about Barbara's death. I was a special education teacher at 29th St. School when she was working there as a speech therapist. Barbara was always so kind to me and my students and so much fun to work with. She taught me alot about working with special needs students and their families. I will always remember her professionalism and caring attitude.

My condolences to Barbara's family. I did not know Barbara long having met her through the Friends of the Anderson Public Library as I was a new member shortly before she became ill. I loved her personality and warm smile. We have greatly missed her in our group.

All, I deeply appreciated the time that I spent with your mother when we were younger. She had more than her share of adversity in life but it was never apparent. I very much respected that about her. But what really impressed me was the way she respected others namely her children's friends. I was as relaxed talking with her as I was with my with my own parents. Those are warm and fond memories which I will always cherish. Deepest condolences.
