Anderson - James Anderson Foster, 76, Anderson, passed away July 27, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
He was born December 30, 1933 in Carroll County, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Edna (Wiley) Foster of Carrollton, Kentucky.
Surviving are three children, James Evans Foster & wife Mary of Madison, Stephen Ray Foster & wife Connie of Carrollton, Kentucky and a daughter, Devella Nichelson and husband Bill of Anderson. Grandchildren include Mike Wilson of Carrollton, Kentucky, Leona Brumback of Anderson, Regina Brumback of Georgetown, Kentucky, Alvin Brumback of Anderson, Sammy Foster of Carrollton, Kentucky; step-grandsons, Billy Sam Nichelson of Anderson, Jon Nichelson of Fremont, Ohio and granddaughter, Julena Mooney of Butler. Also surviving are 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
James worked at the Pendleton Reformatory for several years. He retired from Pendleton Awning Company in Pendleton.
He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Carrollton, Kentucky and attended Pendleton Bible Church in Pendleton.
Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home and Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson.
Services will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
