Anderson - Michael Wayne Edwards, 50, Anderson, passed away July 23, 2010 at his niece's residence.
He was born October 12, 1959 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life.
He enjoyed working at Liebhardt Mills in Middletown for several years.
Michael loved his family, friends and his pets, Zebo and Smitty. He will be missed and remembered by everyone for his great personality and kind heart. He also enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs play baseball.
He is survived by his brothers, Jeff Edwards, Johnny Edwards, Bobby Edwards, Dennis Edwards and Jerry Edwards; sister, Faye Britt; grandmother, Avo Cantrell; many nieces and nephews, Holly (Lucas) McAllister, Heather (Seth) Biddle, Jeffrey Edwards, Hannah (Steve) Hughes and nieces and nephews in Alabama and Georgia; special friends, Edward "Scotty" and Julie Day and family as well as his girlfriend's mother, Alma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel J. & Reba F. (Cantrell) Edwards; nephew, Adam Edwards; and his girlfriend, Lisa Staley.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 PM on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home and Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson.
Services will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2:30 PM, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Marcum officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Jeff Edwards through the funeral home.
